AZPT Pumping principle:
The geometry of the displacement gearing, matched in form by the rotation of the drive shaft, results in the parabolic flow characteristic shown here on the next page. In a standard pump, this characteristic is repeated each time a gear tooth meshes. With their dual-flank system, the flow pulsation of SILENCE pumps is reduced by 75 % – with correspondingly lower excitation of downstream system components – at double the fundamental frequency. During this process, the gear pair exhibits an extremely reduced rear flank backlash, so that hydraulic sealing is provided not just by the front flank of the driven gear, but also by the rear flanks. In this way, the front and rear flanks alternately contribute to flow displacement. And by adapting the shape of the metering notches, the expansion of the hydraulic line of action is half that of the standard pump.
What are the causes of wear of the wheel pump housing?
1, the main reason is that the relevant parts wear too much. Gear pump wear parts mainly include drive shaft and bushing, passive gear center hole and shaft pin, pump shell cavity and gear, gear end face and pump cover. When the main technical indicators of the lubricating oil pump do not meet the requirements after wear, it should be disassembled and decomposed, find out the wear part and degree, and take appropriate measures to repair.
Repair of the wear of the active shaft bushing hole and the driven shaft hole: After the active shaft bushing hole is worn, the wear marks can be eliminated by reaming method, and then the bushing is enlarged to the corresponding size. The driven shaft hole wear is also eliminated by the hinged method, and then the driven shaft is prepared according to the actual size of the hinged hole.
2, Rexroth gear pump drive shaft and bushing wear, the gap increases, will affect the amount of pump oil. In this case, the normal fit gap can be restored by repairing the drive shaft or bushing. If the drive shaft is slightly worn, just press out the old bushing and replace it with a standard size bushing, and the matching gap can be restored to the allowable range.
3, Rexroth gear oil pump shell inner cavity repair: pump shell inner cavity wear, generally take the inner cavity insert method repair, that is, the inner cavity is lined with cast iron or steel bushing. After inserting the casing, the inner cavity is lined to the required size, and the bushing of the protruding end face is ground away so that it is flush with the pump housing joint surface.
