Working Principle of the PVM Series Variable Displacement Axial Piston Pump
Power Transmission & Motion Conversion:The pump's drive shaft rotates the cylinder block, which carries the pistons within their respective bores. As the assembly turns, each piston follows the angled surface of the swashplate, converting the rotary input into precise linear, reciprocating motion.
Fluid Handling Process:During operation, as each piston moves through the intake zone, it retracts from the cylinder bore. This action increases the chamber volume, creating a vacuum that draws hydraulic fluid into the chamber. Conversely, when the piston travels through the discharge zone, the swashplate forces it back into the bore. This reduction in chamber volume pressurizes the trapped fluid and forcibly expels it into the hydraulic system.
