AC electromagnet: AC 110, 220, 380V. It is characterized by large starting force, no special power supply, fast closing and releasing, and action time of about 0.01~0.03s. The disadvantage is that the power supply voltage drops by more than 15%, and the electromagnet attraction decreases significantly. If the armature does not act, the dry electromagnet will burn out the coil 10~15min (1~1.5h for wet type) later, and the impact and noise are large, and the service life is low. The allowable switching frequency is 1 minute for 10 times.

DC electromagnet: the operating voltage is DC 110 and 24V, which is reliable, the pull in and release time is about 0.05~0.08s, the switching frequency is generally 120 times/minute, the impact is small, the volume is small, and the service life is long, but the special DC power supply is required, and the cost is high.
