The actual flow rate Q of the servo valve is a function of the spool position and the pressure drop across the metering side of the spool. The structure of permanent magnet linear motor is shown in Figure 3. Its working principle: The linear motor is a permanent magnet differential motor that provides some of the required magnetic force. The current required by the linear motor is significantly lower than that required by proportional electromagnetic coils of the same magnitude. The linear motor has a neutral neutral neutral position, because it will generate force and stroke as soon as it deviates from the neutral position, and the force and stroke are proportional to the current. When the linear motor returns to the neutral position, the centering spring force is in the same direction as the force generated by the motor, providing additional driving force to the valve core, thereby greatly reducing the sensitivity of the DDV servo valve to pollution. The linear motor is centered by means of a pair of springs, without the need for an applied current. In case of power failure, cable damage, or emergency shutdown, the servo valve can automatically return to center without external force.
